About the Artisan Glass & Gold Plate Mosaic Earrings
Jewelry artisan Michael Vincent Michaud has studied extensively with some of America's finest glass artists and institutions and collaborated with his acclaimed father on jewelry collections for museums around the world. Today, Michael combines his knowledge of glass working, his experience in jewelry creation, and his keen sense of design to create colorful works of wearable art.
A collection of multicolored shapes consist of recycled glass, cast by hand with the artist's designer color blends and given a satin finish. The lovely glass segments are set into hand-formed bronze surroundings and layered in 24k gold with a matte finish to create a tasteful color combination. Earrings measures approximately 2 inches in length.
Artisan-crafted in Connecticut. As the glass is hand-cast, small variations in shape and clarity are to be expected and adds artistic character.
