About the Handmade Wood Ring/Cufflink Box
Handmade in Michigan, this sculpted wooden box is crafted with quality materials to create a sturdy heirloom-quality piece to hold and protect your favorite rings or cufflinks! Within the little box, six rows of felted pillows embrace your rings or cufflinks in an upright position, keeping them visible and preventing them from being scratched.
The box is constructed in solid, dense bubinga wood, accented with a lid of curly maple with a decorative walnut stripe. Mitered corners feature wenge-wood splines to provide additional strength and visual appeal.
Wood details : Each box is constructed of all-natural hand-polished hardwoods and given a catalyzed lacquer to provide a clear, durable finish and enhance the natural colors of the wood. Stains are not used. Maintain with general furniture polish. Individual wood types are as follows:

- Bubinga: a very durable exotic hardwood native to Africa, not considered an endangered species. It has a warm, lustrous red-brown tone that will darken slightly with age.
- Walnut: a hardwood native to the Eastern United States featuring dark brown grains that are beautifully enhanced with age.
- Maple : strong hardwood native to eastern North American with a creamy color. Birdseye variations in the wood are caused by a natural response within the maple to harsh growing conditions. Maple is used to create the lids in all versions of the jewelry chest.
