Grapefruit essential oil has the characteristic aroma of Grapefruit, fresh, crisp and citrus like. The color of the oil is yellowish to greenish-yellow. It is cold expressed from the peels of the grapefruit, which grows on a large Australian tree with shiny green leaves. Grapefruit Essential Oil blends well with the following: Basil Essential Oil, Bergamot Essential Oil, Cedarwood Essential Oil Atlas, Chamomile German Essential Oil, Geranium Essential Oil, Lavender Essential Oil, Rosewood Essential Oil Brazilian, Ylang Ylang Essential Oil Complete Properties: antidepressant, antiseptic, aperitif, astringent, diuretic, disinfectant, resolvent, stimulant, tonicSpecial note: Citrus Oils in their pure state, may appear cloudy or contain small particles of wax. This occurs naturally in the oil and becomes most apparent when stored in cold areas. It is recommended, however, that these oils be stored in a cold place to ensure longevity and quality. If the clarity is a concern, you may wish to filter until clear, however once cooled again the cloudy appearance may return. The clarity may improve through storing the oil at room temperature, but this will reduce the shelf life and is not recommended.
